Peptide Therapy

What Are Peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that naturally occur in the human body and play a role in normal biological signaling processes. In clinical medicine, certain peptides are developed into prescription medications and may be used under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider for appropriate patients.

Peptide-based medications differ from dietary supplements and are regulated as prescription drugs when compounded or prescribed for patient use.

Our Clinical Approach to Peptides

Infuse Wellness offers peptide-based therapies only when clinically appropriate, following an individualized medical evaluation conducted by a licensed healthcare provider.

All peptide therapies offered through Infuse Wellness are:

  • Prescribed on an individual, patient-specific basis

  • Dispensed by licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies

  • Provided pursuant to a valid patient-provider relationship

  • Subject to ongoing clinical oversight and reassessment

Infuse Wellness does not offer peptides as over-the-counter products, cosmetic services, or generalized wellness supplements.

Regulatory & Safety Considerations

The availability and use of compounded peptide medications are subject to:

  • Federal and state pharmacy regulations

  • FDA guidance on compounding practices

  • Clinical judgment of the prescribing provider

  • Patient-specific medical considerations

Not all peptides are appropriate for all patients, and not all peptides are clinically appropriate for compounding. Decisions regarding peptide therapy are made on a case-by-case basis.

Infuse Wellness does not represent compounded peptide medications as FDA-approved unless the medication itself has received FDA approval.

Medical Evaluation & Monitoring

Before any peptide therapy is considered, patients undergo a comprehensive medical intake, which may include:

  • Review of medical history

  • Medication reconciliation

  • Assessment of contraindications

  • Ongoing follow-up as determined by the provider

Peptide therapies are prescribed, modified, or discontinued based on clinical judgment and patient response, not marketing claims or generalized protocols.

Important Disclosure

Compounded medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies based on prescriptions written for individual patients. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, but may be prescribed when a licensed provider determines that an FDA-approved option is not clinically appropriate for a specific patient.
